Tuesday

It has been too long. Well thanksgiving is around the corner and I am pushing really hard to get ahead in my welding class so that I can come home early. Hopefully I do not have to work but if worse comes to it maybe could just have the morning shift. So my mom will be happy to know that I have changed my attitude and I have laid out my clothes and emailed the college group leader for the youth group and I am also going to call him. So that i can go to the college group tonight. The other day I told both of my parents that there was no way in heck I could make my self go a college group to meet new people and to get out there. Hearing the disappointment in there voices did not make me feel to good. So I am going to do what they really would like me to do and plus if my best friend can move out of the country for a year. This should be no problem... I let you know how it goes tonight too.

Before I sprained my ankle I was able to take some pictures around the house down here.

Monday

This morning I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning but I eventually got up and went to school and my day began. First my teacher was late to class which is annoying, when he tells us that school is like a job and you should never be late.Ten minutes later he comes rolling in like nothing is wrong and then can't even connect his computer to the power point screen and spends the next twenty minutes while everyone is waiting for him to start.Personally, he should of prepared everything prior to class. After waiting for him to arrive and even longer for him to get ready to teach it was all very aggrivating. Then after that I came home and completed my welding homework and decided that I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies.I went online and found a reciepe and started getting all the ingredients ready to mix. I should have printed the reciepe in the first place, instead of going back and fourth between my laptop and the mixing bowl.So I am in my zone singing and not paying attention and first, I put two tablespoons instead of vanilla extract when the reciepe called for teaspoons. Then the reciepe called for water, and I proceded to put two cups instead of two tablespoons. So you see I should of been paying attention. My mix was completely liquid after putting that water in, so I threw it out and proceeded to start again. Found out that there was'nt enough butter and while I was looking for some I found a batch of cookies that were pre-made and jus needed to be put in the oven. While that was cooking I happend to look out the window and all four goats are just prancing down the driveway and headed straight for the flower bed in the front yard.So I told the dog "Lilly" to round them up, it was very hilarious watching her race across the yard back and fourth trying to herd all four goats back the way they came while the neighbor dogs are chasing one of the goats the wrong way.She finally was able to get them back to the barn and in all the excitment I forgot about the cookies baking inside. They were a little burned but not to bad.Today it is 64 degrees and I have on my cozy pants and sweatshirt, but I am still cold.Tonight I have my welding class and hopefully my teacher is there so we can have a quiz.
