Brr it's a little cold outside...

I am finally feeling a little better today which I am very happy for. Today in class it was ridiculous my mind felt like it had been dropped from a high tower and was splattered in pieces on the ground from the immense amount of math that my brain needed to absorb. It was problems like you have this many acres and your tires are this wide and this long how many seeds will it take for the plot. I can't stand word problems most likely because i have never been able to grasp the concept of taking the number from them and putting them into a normal problem. It is very frustrating. On a better note this morning when I went to warm up my car there were ice patterns from raining last night and then I am guessing that it stopped and water froze to my car not in droplets but in sheets with designs in them.

Oh It's only MONDAY!!! Aw Man!!!

Today was slow one, of course it is Monday so I guess it is the way it goes normally. I had heavy equipment methods and hydraulics. Hydraulics was the worse. We have been learning about air brakes and i wish i could say that they are simple to learn but they are not at all. :(  Today I saw a rainbow coming into the canyon and as I was getting closer to home I saw that it ended right near the driveway. Super cool. Well I have to get to my homework.

Castle Lake

Today i filled more apps out but then got disconnected from the darn internet. So I felt as if i didn't do something to keep me busy I would go crazy, so I proceeded to do a two hour workout. I don't why some feel that they need to pay money to go to a gym and workout when the outside has so much to offer, like since i didn't have weights I used heavy wet pieces of Oak logs to workout with and it didn't cost me a dime.

Tuesday

Well it is raining and I am highly even more motivated to get applications done. I have already filled and sent off three applications since last night. :)

Happy Friday!!

Oh what a happy day it has been on this lovely Friday. It started out a little bad because I slept through my alarm and was running late but luckily the day got better as time went on. We watched a few videos on excavators and how they worked and how today's industry is using them. It was very interesting since I have never operated one, because last semester everyone was hogging them.Last semester I ran  the backhoe's, bulldozers, and the loaders. I did get to operate a bobcat excavator which is a lot smaller than the regular ones. After lunch we went out to do bucket drills because it was too wet still to go out and dig. :( But one of my buddies taught me how to operate the CAT 312 Excavator. It was so much fun I couldn't contain myself. I realized running that equipment gave me the same thrilling mind set that I had on my first day of operating class last semester. I feel like my mind is back in the game to get through school and move to bigger mountains to conquer.

Last weekend

This last weekend I hung out with a friend from school and did some regular things and some not. We went to a high school basketball game where we didn't know anyone on the team and then later on we went four wheeling with some of his friends. Saturday I worked til two then afterwards I met up with him again and we went and sat at Carls Jr watching all of the rice rockets and souped up cars show off what they had underneath there hoods. We then got bored and he asked if I wanted to go climb buildings which I thought was crazy but I went along with it until I told him that climbing in ugs wasn't going to be fun. So instead we went to an old building that was used to be a Diamond Matches Factory that was closed down in 1959. It was exciting and awesome to see an old building that was originally built in 1909. I wasn't able to get a picture with my phone because it was dark but I found one on the web.
