ugh Monday...

Good Morning! Its Monday and I have an amazing midterm in my hydraulics class. I have studied and I am still studying currently, hopefully I do well.

Full last three days

On Friday I operated all day on the Case 888 excavator for almost seven hours, I had so much fun operating on it. I started out not digging correctly and not coming up with full loads. My teacher showed me how to improve and by lunch time I had dug a fifty foot trench with a smooth bottom and clean sides. After lunch I was even better, while everyone else was being bored I was digging to china and having a blast. =) At the end of the day my teacher said that I had improved the most out of everyone else and I got an applause from all of my classmates. Through out the day my buddy Chris kept telling me I got a friend you have to meet and go on a date with. I was not for it at all but by the end of the day was in such a good mood and wanted to have a change of pace that went for it. Chris is a pretty good judge of character when it comes to setting people up.That night I went on a date and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Saturday I worked a double shift at the Oakmont. Breakfast was fine but at lunch it was horrible, I screwed up some orders and got the chef  frustrated too. I couldn't wait to get out of their and go home and take a nap and study.

a few days later

I had to stop in from my busy life and drop a note to say that I have diligently not being lazy and handling this challenge better than I thought I would. I have been waking up early and getting to school on time, and I also have just completed all of my homework for the weekend. The only thing that I have left to do is to study like a maniac for my midterm on Monday. The last two days I left directly from school to go work a night shift and today I was asked to work a double shift. I was a little nervous at first because the weekday crew is much faster than the weekend or night crews. So far it hasn't been to bad and I am able to do okay. At first I did not want to work on my only day off from everything so that I could sleep in but all I can think now is how much bigger that paycheck will be to put into savings. Hope you all are having a wonderful day, I am off to my last shift. :)

Day one & two

So far I have been doing a good job not being lazy. On day one I actually did homework on a Friday after school, then i rewarded myself with watching a movie online.It was called the "Machine Gun Preacher" it was based on a true story and it was good. I recomend it if you don't mind some cussing and blood. On Saturday I worked a double shift and went to see my grandma in between shifts. After work I was supposed to go to a friend's house for a barbeque but it was canceled so it was just going to be another boring night but then I got an idea that I wanted to go out and do something.So I made plans to with a friend from school to live the night life that everyone raves about in this town. It was fun but I think I can do without it.

Two week challenge

I decided that I want to change my bad habits and one of my big ones is being lazy. Whether its at work: moving slow,home: putting off homework until the very last moment, or just small things I am lazy about it all. So I am challenging myself to a two week challenge to not be lazy. Every few days I will blog about how I honor my promise and the things I do instead to make myself a better person. 

I promise for two weeks to not be lazy ever and to write about it so that after the two weeks is up I can see what else I can change for the better. Wish me luck and you will be hearing from me tomorrow. =)

Brr it's a little cold outside...

I am finally feeling a little better today which I am very happy for. Today in class it was ridiculous my mind felt like it had been dropped from a high tower and was splattered in pieces on the ground from the immense amount of math that my brain needed to absorb. It was problems like you have this many acres and your tires are this wide and this long how many seeds will it take for the plot. I can't stand word problems most likely because i have never been able to grasp the concept of taking the number from them and putting them into a normal problem. It is very frustrating. On a better note this morning when I went to warm up my car there were ice patterns from raining last night and then I am guessing that it stopped and water froze to my car not in droplets but in sheets with designs in them.

Oh It's only MONDAY!!! Aw Man!!!

Today was slow one, of course it is Monday so I guess it is the way it goes normally. I had heavy equipment methods and hydraulics. Hydraulics was the worse. We have been learning about air brakes and i wish i could say that they are simple to learn but they are not at all. :(  Today I saw a rainbow coming into the canyon and as I was getting closer to home I saw that it ended right near the driveway. Super cool. Well I have to get to my homework.
